I am confused whether the protest is against the Govt or King.

New media says that the protest is against the govt.

1. If it is against the govt, people will be happy if new prime minister comes with some additional power under the same king.

2. If it is explicitly against King, why is the news media saying that the protest is against the govt.

Against the govt and against the King are two totally different things no matter how holds power.

I agree with you. It makes no sense to blame the current government. It is just a puppet. I strongly disagree with Kantipur's statement.

After all, these ministers will be again ministers later when new government is formed under any prime minister.

Target should be the King - the self proclaimed King.

I am very confused with the objective of the protest ???

The confused goals are:

King and Parties (with or without power)

or

Only Parties

I doubt that even parties are clear on their objective.

We have to remember that the king is the Chair of the present government. In a way, or the others at present context, the King or the Government is synonymic. I agree with the view that the movement is directed against the royal regime and not to the present government. Looking at the interview of present SPA leaders they may anytime negotiate with the regime. It the duty of all Napoli people not to let the SPA leaders to get ready to put on Daura Surwal and stay in queue to cash the existing movement. Specially doubt Deuba, and Girija.
