Hi,

Anybody has any idea of filing CitizenShip from DV lottery green card. Now its time for me to file for the citizenship but don't know how? I consulted to lawyer. But just wonder if anybody knows how to file personally.

is it a good idea to file personally without having lawyer? any consequences that may impact it?

Don;t waste money on lawyer, if somebody can read and write english, they can do it, go to uscis.gov website, and find N-400, one link is to form, another one for instruction, print it, read carefully. You can do it.

You own me 20 bucks now, ha.ha.ha......... just kidding, good luck.

Did you hire a lawyer to get your greencard? if you did, you should get a lawyer to file for citizenship too.

To file for Citizenship you don't need to hire a lawyer unless you have DUI.
