I contacted most of the travel agents and the cheapest one was from travelhouse. Check with them. He is really helpful.

get all online comparisons through www.kayak.com I have used this website for comparison all the time before I bought tiks to anywhere.

If you are leaving from NYC area, the best bet ( if you are thinking INEXPENSIVE) is to go through Delhi. If you have a Nepali PP, Delhi sometimes can be a hassle, but not as much. Take Jet Airways (try flexible dates) NYC/EWR-BRU-DEL-KTM for less than $1200 if you are a little flexible with yor dates.

The flight through middle east are goddarn expensive and aren't that fast in terms of total travel time anyways!

In November, I went to KTM via Delhi. I was not hassled at all. The delhi airport is just like any other international airport.. nice and shiny. Compared to my sister who took Etihad and paid more than 1800, total price for my ticket was just about 1250.00. If I have to go to Nepal, i will go via Delhi again without any hesitation. btw, I got my tickets from enigma travels. Very happy with their service.
