Guys, I am planning to transfer to UNVA for the sole purpose to get the CPT to be eligible to work. What I am not sure is how legitimate is the college. Anyone affiliated with UNVA or anyone who knows about them can you please suggest if it will be a safe bet to transfer? I am in dire position requiring me work but in the meantime I do not want to jeopardize my F1 status? Thanks.

What is important to you, knowledge, maintaining the status or making money doing odd jobs? If you are for knowledge, you might be better off where you are.

I already have one masters, so this degree is not really for devoted learning but to maintain my F1 status. Meanwhile, I need to pay the tution and survive, so am looking for option to be able to work, and not the odd jobs. I've had one and half years of prior work experience here at US, but an unsuccessful H1B application forced me to leave job and back to school. My current college doesn't have CPT program so can't really look for job. Hence, I was considering the option to transfer to UNVA. So, I would like to know if this is a legit school to transfer and the Co-Op work authorization they provide is valid? Please help!! I need to make decisions within few weeks. Thanks a lot!!
