 Nepali gunned down in Boston

A Nepali was shot dead in Boston, USA, on Saturday afternoon,
according to NepaliPost.com, a website run by Nepali diaspora in the US.


The deceased identified as Surendra Dangol, 40, of Sankhu, Kathmandu,
was shot by a criminal at a local food store in Jamaica Plain, where he
was working as an employee.


Dangol had started working at the store, owned by a Pakistani citizen, a week ago, the website reported.


His body has been kept at a local hospital for investigation which will take three days, the site quoted the local police.


Dangol is survived by his wife and a 9-year-old daughter, who are living in Nepal.


He had been staying in Boston for the past three days.
