I have applied for F1 reinstatement and got a RFE today from USCIS , what they need if official transcript and letter from current school indicating current academic status. Is this normal ? Is there any chances of reinstatment for this type of cases and if how long it will take. I got this in 5 weeks. Thank you in advance for help

This is common. They are asking for evidence from your school to see if you are taking full load courses or intend to take full load courses at present. They may also be looking to see if you remained out of status for more than 5 months. So talk to your international adviser and go with it. Good luck
