. does anybody know about any group/people playing/practicing soccer in this area? preferably during weekends... i am looking to loosen my legs a bit... only for staying healthy... not a serious player..... thank you guys

Not a bad idea to start with 3........ Tennis may be a better option though, there are a few local parks with tennis courts. What do u guys say?

I am near the Sac-downtown Area. McKinley Park is pretty huge with plenty of ground for Soccer if we can gather few more guys. McKinley Park also has 6-8 Tennis Courts and remains unoccupied most of the time. If you guys wanna play Tennis I am available during weekends. Same for Soccer, but we need more people.

Hey sac-town1, if you have couple of other frens, that makes us 6. Not a bad number to start playing soccer with. What do you guys say?
I think Saturday afternoon is a good time for Soccer. I am open for Sunday too. Lets say Saturday afternoon around 4 pm in McKinley Park.
Here is the address: H Street and Alhambra Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95816
Please bring your friends as well.
Please reply to this post if you are playing. We can arrange for soccer ball and other things after we gather a reasonable number of players.
