matrixrose,izen,lahure,RSVP, thank you
I did not all the pictures. I just have a collection of nepalese pictures and I want to share them.
Long time back, I used Fuji camera that used the regular negative rolls.
Then I used Fuji MX-1200 digital, Canon Powershot A40.
Currently I use Canon Powershot A510 mostly.

La Saathi haru, Kasko ghar ho yo???

This is Phumdi village in pokhara. May be someone here are from there ;-)

Mungling road damaged by landslides...

Now I am used to US highways, I can not imagine how narrow Nepal's highways are... OMG.. and they drive so recklessly... waiting to fall down to the river or chasm...

This village house shows typical village house in the middle hilly regions like Gorkha, Parbat, Lamjung etc...
I can almost feel my visit to gorkha 15 yrs ago...
similar fields, Gaiko Goth, Gara haru (terraces) etc...etc...

The bottom pic is of road construction in dhulikhel. I joined them together to save the number of replies as this thread will end at 300. :-{

Neupane Ji,

Awesome. Like the Bhumdi village one; the himals serve as a perfect backcloth allowing the picture to have a superb panoramic feel to it with all of its foregrounding features. You couldn't have chosen a better vantage point. The foregrounded spur of the village hill and the lofty himals in the distance standing decidedly against the clear azure sky, are two competing features perhaps and this creates a rather subdued and compressed impression in the middle; the rolling hills expand sideways but their progress is somewhat curtailed by the limiting space of the frame. The long swathe of clouds hovering in the middle creates a sense of distance and perspective ? very much a part of the overall semiotics.

More pse.
