One of my friends needs to File H1B from TPS. Does anyone has filed H1B from TPS before. I researched online all I got , From TPS to H1B is not possible. Please share your experience if you have done it before , thanks.

TPS to H1B is possible, and if you were in status before you applied TPS then you will have both H1B and change of status approved. With that being said, you will of course need to meet H1B criteria (including lottery and all other).

Absolutely possible. If you were legal before getting tps, your status will also get adjusted. Otherwise, you need to go through consular processing. Don't listen to those assholes who says not possible !!!

C16_Sajha and datamap -- I am in the same situation right now. I started working in TPS EAD once my OPT-ext EAD got expired in 2015. My H1B application got approved this year. DO you know if anybody has completed change of status from tps to H1b without going out of US ?
