Is it true that if you do not get your EAD within 90 days of your application (90 days from the day you received the INS receipt), you can go to INS office and get your EAD card..? Anyone had this experience before?

You are right. I did not have this problem but i am pretty sure this is the process. If you do not receive it within 90 days, you can go to your nearest INS office and they will issue some sort of document that will act as your EAD card until you receive it.

Yes, they will give u some form of temporary EAD pending the decision on ur original application.

Did anyone receive EAD who filed 485 after July 1,2007? Someone told me that not only they got their receipts but also got their EADs as well.. Anyone???
