Hi All,
I am working for a company which requires me to go to China for a business trip this August. But my visa already expired last year. So I am planing to go to either Nepal or Canada to get the H1B stamp before going to China, since I will require this stamp to reenter US after my tr,ip. And I heard, correct me if I am wrong, but these are the only countries I can go to get the stamp.
So I need an opinion from you guys on where do you think I should go to get this stamp. Which will be safest and fastest country. And I got my vacation for only 1 week to get all these things done before my trip.
Your suggestion and help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, You can stamp your visa from any country....but the thing is that you need to inform the counsulate office of that country that because of the official reason you have to travel that country and have to stamp the visa to re-enter the US. Then they will let you know weahter they will grant you the permission to apply for the visa. But its always safe to go to Nepal, apply for the visa and then go to other country for your offical purpose.
Good Luck

There was an advisory that you should get the stamp from your country unless necessary to do otherwise. I thus would lean towards going to Nepal for the stamp; however I also recall similar question asked in Sajha a couple of months ago and people recommended going to Canada.
