I can't see any body more deserving the golden ball than the Wizard. After the near perfection pay with the brazil, and stunning preformance with spain and with protugal, i see no one more deserving than him. No matter how the tides turn in the finals, he deserves the golden ball.

couldnt agree with you more. zidane is the best player post maradona era in last 20 years. for me italy winning the cup and zidane wiinning the golden ball will be perfect finale.

I don't know why MANICHE was nominated as one of the golden ball contenders. I think there are other players better than him in Portugese team.
