बझाङ, १३ वैशाख
संविधानसभा चुनावमा आफूले भनेको दललाई मत नदिएको आरोपमा कथित उपल्लो जातका एक परिवारले दलितलाई खानेपानीबाट वञ्चित गरेको छ । सदरमुकामसँग जोडिएको हेमन्तवाडा गाविस-६ का नवराज विष्टको परिवारले वडा नम्बर ४ र ५ का करिब ५० घर दलित परिवारलाई खानेपानीबाट वञ्चित गराएका हुन् । कांग्रेसको चुनाव चिह्न रूखमा मतदान नगरेको भन्दै घरनजिकैको सार्वजनिक धाराको पानी प्रयोगबाट वञ्चित गरिएको पीडितले बताएका छन् । पीडित गणेश ओडले संविधानसभा चुनावको दिनदेखि आफूहरूले गाउँको धाराबाट पानी ल्याउन नपाएको बताए । विष्ट परिवारले दलितलाई धारा आफ्नो भएको भन्दै पानी भर्न बन्देज लगाएको उनको आरोप छ ।
'मैले भनेको चिह्नमा भोट नदिने तिमी डुमले मेरो धारामा पानी भर्न पाउँदैनौं,' विष्ट परिवारले गाली बेइज्जती गरेको बताउँदै ओडले भने, 'पानी भर्न धारामा गएको थिएँ, मेरो धारामा किन पानी लिन आउँछौं ? भनी पानी भरेको गाग्रीमा लात्तीले हानेर फालिदिए ।' विष्ट परिवारले 'जुन पार्टीलाई भोट दिएका थियौ, उनीहरूकोमा गएर पानी ल्याऊ' भनी दलितलाई फर्काइएको पनि पीडितले बताए । जिल्ल्ाा विकास समितिको आर्थिक सहयोगमा ०६२ सालमा निर्माण भएको सो धारामा पानी बगिरहेको छ । स्थानीय दलित परिवारले भने करिब दुई घन्टा टाढाबाट पानी बोकेर ल्याउने गरेका छन् । खानेपानीबाट बन्देज गरेपछि गाविस कार्यालयमा जानकारी गराउँदा सुनुवाइ नभएको दलितको गुनासो छ ।
एमालेबाट समानुपातिक सूचीमा नाम समावेश गरिएका तथा सोही गाविस-५ का अफिलाल ओखेडाले घटनाबारे विभिन्न निकायमा खबर गरे पनि सुनुवाइ नभएको बताए । विष्टको परिवारले धारा निजी भएको बताउँदै कसैलाई पानी नदिने अडान लिएका छन् । दलितले भने आफूहरूलाई मात्र बन्देज गरिएको बताए ।
