Hey guys.. how does this indian consultancies work. I get call from them saying that they would provide free training and accomodation and job placement. I heard from my frens that they take certain portion of your salary ...some say some of the consultancies would not have enough projects and we would be left with nothing to do. Anybody got an experience?.. What are the key things to ask them before you do anything with them. your advice and suggestion is much appreciated.

The best thing is to stay away from them.  No point asking em anything meaningful.  I won't expect sincere answers from people who embezzle resumes and train to lie.  If you have to join one anyway, make sure it is highly recommended by trusted friends working there.
