sathi haru, mero OPT expire huna lagyo, mero company e-varified pani nai, so i can not extend using STEM extension. H1 garidinchh ki bhanera kura gareko chhu. mero origional plan OPT extend garne thiyo, aba yedi H1 bhayena bhane k garne hona, what are my options? la sathi haru, k kasto experience chh help garidinu paryo. i really appreciate yall ... its a tough situation for me. thank you all life is good

Life is good, If your company is sponsoring H1B then you need to act quick. The numbers are running low and USCIS stopped accepting H1B applications last year around third week of December. Read the follwing thread I started 4 months back. I was in the same siutation like you, but my H1B was filed last week (premium processing). Still haven't gotten the receipt no. though. @ gari khau mitra lai dhanyabad. but i heard kaplan has changed its policy regarding international students and i-20 thing. after earning 4 year degree working hard, i would be devastated to have to go back to school this early. i have not heard from the boss regarding if they will do my h1, may be i will hear later this week. @bengaltiger thank you. i am thinking about premium processing if the decides to do the h1 for me. what kind of documents would i need to do so? @kalopani thank you. i have the same thought. but when i join some consultancy, i will be in the payroll of some other company. is it going to matter when i apply for opt extension using this method? has anyone done this way? please advise, i appreciate you all.

The lawyer asked me for the following documents: 1. Copies of all I-20s 2. Copy of my full passport (including the black pages) + I-94 3. Copy of all EAD card/s 4. Transcripts + diploma 5. Job offer letter. 6. Copy of dependent passport for H4 application I don't know what other documents he got from my company. The lawyer got all company related documents directly from the company. He also sent me a set of questionnaires to fill out.

I wish I could help you my friend. I am going through the same pain. If y'll have any idea than plz, do advise me. My situation is little different. I graduated with Business degree but started a job in a Hospital as a Medical Technologist. I had some good experience from Nepal. The company gave me an opportunity to exercise my knowledge in US and are training me the related work too. I have not ask them for any sponsorship, since, I am still on my prohibition period. After few months if I asked them, I see a high chance that they will sponsor me ( they do not want to loose me).
The Question is : 1. Job I am doing now is different than my degree earned here, how does it effects for the H1 processing? Is it supposed to be major related ? 2. Do you see any chance of H1 approval in my case (according to your experience) ?
2. When is the right time to apply and process for H1 ? ( My OPT is going to expire on July 2011 )
