Hi everyone, I would really appreciate if someone who has been in similar situation can give me some solutions. My OPT expires in about 4 months. I am currently working as an RN, here in USA. My husband is in Nepal. I would like to go to Australia as a student to study master so he can go with me as a dependent or as an RN if I can go there on a working visa. He applied to come here and his visa have been rejected several times to come to USA. Please let me know if there are any options for me. Thank you.

1)Get your license there first , you can google as to how to get it. You might have to do ielts, but am not sure.

2)Once you get the license, look for work. Google for jobs, or visit www.seek.com.au

3)The place that will hire you will file 457 working visa and u can include your husband in it.

I googled the following information. The licensing authority is.

http://www.ahpra.gov.au

You will need to contact them below and they should guide you. I further checked on google it seems this process can take 6-7 months.

All the best.
