Hey guys,
Does anyone know:
1. Can I bring my gf to US as a tourist visa? (How difficult to get visa?)
2. After that, can I marry her and change her status to H4 (I am in H1B)?
How difficult and possible is it?

1. Yes, you can get bring her here, but getting any kind of VISA is hard, and it depends how much you are show, and what are the evidence that you can show.
2. I don't see why you can't change her status to H4 after you marry her.

BUT, why don't you marry her first, and then apply for her VISA as a dependent, that will be easier than tourist visa, I guess.

Thank you for your reply.
I heard that, I can marry her after she came here but for the change her status to H4, she needs to go back home country and re-reply. Is it true? Won't she be H4 without going back to Nepal?

The easiest option is marry her in Nepal and bring her with you on h4. If your status is good here, she will get h4 without any issues as she doesnot need to prove any tie back to the country and other finances.
If she comes here on tourist visa which is difficult to get itself and then marries you within few months, then USCIS might give her the problem that her intent of visit was to marry you.

Thanks.
Actually, I have not stamped my H1B visa yet. So, I am looking for other option to get her here instead of going there and get married.
I have a another question. Can I get TPS (Advanced payroll only for travel not EAD) without affecting my H1B and then go to Nepal and get marry and apply H4 for her and bring her with me together here in US (make sure I am going there not as a H1B holder but a TPS- Travel Doc holder)?
