Sathi haru, waiting for my TPS / EAD approvals and getting bored here. So this may be very early to discuss, but just for fun's sake, I wanted to hear your thoughts. With the upcoming administration, do you think TPS will be renewed for Nepal in 2018? Earthquake recovery-wise I don't expect much development to occur in Nepal, but U.S. politics may play its part, especially if that southern senator (Rep. Brooks) gets his bill passed with a Republican House and Senate, that calls for making TPS stringent and limited. Do you see this senator's bill passing? Again, too early to think about perhaps but may help some in long term planning.

It's not too early to discuss about it. Most of the politicians from Alabama are proven racists and above all he ( Mr. Mo Brooks from 5th district, Alabama ) represents a tiny portion of the US and he wants to change the law that can affect most (99.99%) of the people living outside his district. So I would send my district Representative a letter requesting a "No" Vote for this bill that Mr. Brooks is presenting to the House. As a Nepali we all should send letters to our respective District Representatives requesting a 'No' vote.
