I am just wondering if things like these happen to others as often as they happen to me. My question is how often or how many times you have trusted and that trust gone down the drain? At work? In relation with friends and families? I am perplexed... really! I am not sure anymore on what basis to trust anybody.

Instinct and logic... both have failed. WHAT NOW? :-)...! Is it always feeling your way about? Not knowing for sure?

Many times S of T, many times! I don't remember how many times, but quite a number of times, haha! But you gotta trust somebody... don't ya think so? Or you will be living a darned lonely life!

I must say you have put forward a very thought provoking question. Not only you most of us have faced one or the other kind of trickery, cheating, deceit, lies and what-have-yous. But then again, one does not have a set of indicators that guarentees or says ýthis leads to trustý. The world and people, their thoughts, perspectives, experiences and belief never remain static. Keep on changing, evolving. Therefore, trusting, whoever s/he/it may be, friends, colleagues or family members, itýs always a risk. Sometimes, if the other person is as intelligent, sensitive, compassionate as you assumedý then your trust will be maintained. If not that person will act as per his/her judgment and belief, which may or may not coincide with what you expected or assumed. So, you go on againý following your instinct and logic as you put it.

But I tell you we do not have a set of indicatorsý that is what I have come to understand.

May be others see the issue of trust differently?
B.

Work - maintain a proffessional relationship, ( don't be too personal)

family- trust your parents, brothers and sisters

friends- depends

But in general , use your judgement, trust your inner voice to some level, distinguish voices that give peace versus the ones that are fleshy.

I suggest that you read these books

1. Seven habbits of highly effective people
2. How to hear from God- Joyce Meyers

Hope that helps.

Back to work.
