King is the real enemy for centuries so its a big change. Dont just blame prachanda just for his bloody approach. How do you know he is bad for the country?

I think its not fair to classify him in kings category with out being given a chance.

After all he is a son of general citizen like you and me and I am sure he has lot more heart than this one. With out some burning desire to do something to the nation, i dont think he led this war and killed 15000 ppl.

Moreover, prachanda never looks relaxed. look at this gyane - he is so cool about all the happenings in the country when he is responsible for creating law and order. He shows not panic and no emotion. Not a single speech for all this time. He is in Pokhara in belated honeymoon with Komal. Does that mean he cares more than Prachanda about general Nepali? Hell no. Although Prachanda might have used wrong approach to gain his aims, or may be following extreme path such as communism, I am very optimistic he is there for good of the country and good of poor people. It could be possible neither u nor me will benifit from his rule but I am sure people living in humla jumla will benifit and their time has to come too.

Poverty and social injustice has engulfed this countries from centuries and we definitely need this revolution. You may call be a pro maoist but I am hardcore democrat who have fought during my student life in colleges and have carried democratic parties flags. I am still supporter of parties. But I cant be selfish in my views because I dont represent the common people. But look at the 80% of people and see from which they will benigit from? that is why I think maoists are much better than gyane in long run and if given the power. USA, UK, elite Nepali do not like maoist because they have hardcore agendas that might undermione some basic freedom and rights but freedom and rights are secondary importance to those who dont have enough to eat and a cloth to wear. Provide that first to every nepali and let every one has this confidence of having enough to eat then you may think about rights, freedom , security and proper democracy. For 10-20 yrs, Nepal definitely need hardcore maoist.

le chef

please also note that those in the street are (more than 90%) from very poor families who dont have enough to eat so they are surely going to benifit. Elite families are not in the street right now. they are in the US, Europe or in their cosy luxurious urban homes enjoying Kamal thapas bhasan.

I hope u understand what I am trying to say and who will benifit from this.
