Hi.

Does anyone have any experience dealing with President Travels based out of Boston? Are they a reliable agency to be trusted? They gave me a decent quote to travel to Nepal but I want to be assured they are responsible folks. Thank you for your help.

cheers

Anamika1

Anamika1 Ji,

they also gave me a pretty good deal in Feb, flying to KTM via Bangkok and I did not experience any hassle. As far as i know President Travels is a reputed agency in Nepal with its head office in Durbarmarg. But hopefully it will go all well. hope this helps !!!

have a safe flight home .

Well just be careful where they gonna put you in transit. My friendz travelled to newyork and then he had transit in belgium. the officers in newyork asked them visa for belgium. and they tried to get hold of president travel from the airport but it was already late. in the morning president travel promised to take them nepal by hook or crook but could not find the ticket on the same day. So they contacted other travel agent and had to buy other ticket as well. they had to go from india and all their electrical goods were taken by indians saying they are not allowed to take those things or had to pay 200% or so tax. Finally they reached nepal but they still have to talk with president travel about refund and problems.

Just couple reminders to be in safe side

do not make a port in india

make sure the other country in transit  does not require visa  to enter there

have a safe trip and wish i can also go Nepal.

I have had a nightmare holdup in India few years and literally dread to go that route. Having faced issues with travelling, I wanted to do it the right way this time. Thank you guys for the good advice. I sure do appreciate it.
